Exhibitors

The total number of registered exhibitors at DanFish International 2023 was 334 from 24 countries.
In 2021, it was 304 from 24 countries.

  • 63% were Danish exhibitors (compared to 71% in 2021)
  • 37% were international exhibitors (compared to 29% in 2021)
Attendance

The total number of visitors to DanFish International 2023 was 12,811 people from 47 countries.
In 2021, it was 9,565 people from 33 countries.

The distribution of visitors over the three event days was as follows:

  • Tuesday: 3,918 people (compared to 2,978 in 2021)
  • Wednesday: 5,453 people (compared to 3,863 in 2021)
  • Thursday: 3,440 people (compared to 2,724 in 2021)
International Visitors

27% of the visitors came from abroad, compared to 28% in 2021.

A total of 47 countries were represented, compared to 35 countries in 2021.

Purpose of Visit

When registering, all visitors were asked to indicate the purpose of their visit. The distribution is as follows:

  • 33% – Meet suppliers (compared to 21% in 2021)
  • 26% – Meet customers (compared to 29% in 2021)
  • 16% – Make a purchase (compared to 11% in 2021)
  • 10% – Find new suppliers (compared to 10% in 2021)
  • 15% – Other (compared to 29% in 2021)
Danish Visitor Share

The share of Danish visitors at the fair was 73% (compared to 72% in 2021), with the following distribution at DanFish International 2023:

  • 21% – Suppliers (compared to 13% in 2021)
  • 19% – Crew members (compared to 9% in 2021)
  • 15% – Shipowners (compared to 12% in 2021)
  • 14% – Buyers (compared to 5% in 2021)
  • 8% – Skippers (compared to 7% in 2021)
  • 6% – Shipbuilding (compared to under “Other” in 2021)

The share of international visitors at the fair was 27% (compared to 28% in 2021), with the following distribution at DanFish International 2023:
