VCU TCD is specialized in engineering, production and installation of catch processing equipment, intended for the processing of fresh fish onboard fishing vessels.

Complete Catch Processing Systems, including conveyor and transport belts, (bubble-jet) washing machines, gutters, collection bins, grading and weighing solutions, cooling- and (slurry) ice machines.

VCU CatchManagement is a complete (full integrated) grading, weighing and overview system for fresh fish onboard the vessels. This system also provides full traceability from catch to consumer.

VCU TCD designs catch processing installations in close collaboration with the customer. The complete production of the system takes place in our own workshop which is equipped with the most modern high tech machines.

Slurry Ice

We are specialized in the cooling of both the catch as well as of the ship’s fish-hold. We supply Bubble Slurry ™ Ice machines with various capacities. We can take care of the entire installation.
Bubble Slurry ™ Ice is a mix of tiny, microscopic ice crystals. The Bubble Slurry ™ ice crystals are miniscule in size: 5 microns (or 0,005 mm).
The whole mass submerges the products, allowing no room for air between the product and the Bubble Slurry ™ Ice. This creates a maximum surface area for contact with the product. This results in the fastest possible cooling – it immediately cools the product to the core.

This discourages potentially damaging bacterial growth and chemical reactions, which increases the product’s freshness considerably.
No other cool medium exists that is colder, cleaner, purer, smaller and faster than Bubble Slurry ™ Ice.
