At Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center, we register and process personal data in connection with sales and marketing, planning, coordination, and execution of DanFish International.

Below, we will inform you about why we register this information, which information we register, which information we disclose and share, and which information we process. We will also inform you about the security measures we have taken.

Why do we register personal data?

  • To serve exhibitors and visitors as best as possible
  • To comply with applicable legislation, such as Danish accounting laws
  • To prevent breaches of data security and harmful use of our website

Which information do we register, store, and process?

Sales and Marketing

  • Contact information when subscribing to newsletters
  • Contact information when inquiring about stands and rooms
  • Contact information when purchasing tickets and booking stands

All of the above information is only stored and processed with the consent of the individuals. You can always have your information deleted.

Planning, Coordination, and Execution of DanFish

  • Contact information for contacts (e.g., name, email, and phone number)
  • Sensitive personal information (e.g., food allergies and other health-related information)

General personal information such as name, email, and phone number will be deleted after a maximum of 5 years. Sensitive personal information will be deleted after the event is over and is only accessible to employees who need the information to perform their job.

Photo and Video Policy
We capture DanFish with pictures and videos. This means that, as a visitor or exhibitor, you may appear in the produced material. Read more here

Disclosure of Information
If personal data is processed or stored by a third party, Aalborg Congress & Culture Center has entered into a data processing agreement with them and/or obtained their policies regarding handling personal data and IT security.

Third parties are not permitted to use information for purposes other than those instructed by AKKC. Third parties must ensure a high level of security and immediately notify AKKC in case of a breach of IT and data security.

In connection with targeted advertising, such as banner ads on Facebook and/or similar, we share information with third parties such as Facebook and Google if our website visitors have consented to cookies. See our cookie policy here.

When subscribing to newsletters and inquiring about stands and rooms, individuals voluntarily provide the information they wish us to register and must also accept our privacy policy. We will only share your information if you have given us your consent.

All employees at AKKC are informed about the rules for handling personal data and work according to AKKC’s IT and data security policy.

At AKKC, we have implemented the necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure that we comply with applicable data protection laws. This includes access restrictions to personal data. This means that personal data is only recorded and processed by employees whose work it is relevant for. General personal data is stored for a maximum of 5 years, while sensitive personal information is deleted after use. We continually evaluate and adjust our security measures.
