Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center (AKKC) is the driving force behind DanFish International and has ensured for decades that the exhibition remains one of the world’s leading trade fairs for the fishing industry.
With extensive experience in hosting international events and exhibitions, AKKC provides a professional and inspiring setting where exhibitors and visitors can meet, network, and explore the latest innovations in the industry.
AKKC also organizes the PolarExpo hunting and fishing exhibition in Ilulissat, Greenland, every other year in close collaboration with Greenlandic stakeholders.
With more than half a million guests annually attending concerts, theater performances, exhibitions, trade fairs, meetings, and congresses, AKKC is one of Scandinavia’s largest and most versatile congress and cultural centers.
Through a dedicated focus on quality, service, and development, AKKC ensures that DanFish International remains a key meeting place for the global fishing industry.
Additionally, AKKC is certified under DNV’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) certification and the international ISO 20121 standard for sustainable events—making it the first event venue in Denmark to achieve this recognition.
