Once you’ve parked your car, check in on the car park ticket machine using your payment card. If you park for more than 5 hours on the same day (without moving your car and within payment hours), parking will be free for the rest of the day. Remember to check out! If you forget, you’ll be automatically checked out 48 hours after arrival.

Charging points for electric vehicles
Electric vehicles can be recharged free of charge from the two charging points that are found at the entrance to the multi-storey car park. he sockets provide 220 Volts, up to 16A each. Charging of electric vehicles is provided free of charge by Aalborg City Council as part of the municipal authority’s efforts to promote sustainable traffic. Please note that electric vehicles must pay normal parking tariffs at these charging points.

Low-emission zone
In central Aalborg a low-emission zone has been implemented for heavy goods vehicles and buses. In order to be able to drive into the low-emission zone, heavy goods vehicles and buses must meet special emissions standards related to particle emissions or have a particulate filter fitted. On the Environmental Protection Agency’s website you can find everything you need to know about low-emission zones, including legislation concerning low-emission zones, low-emission zone requirements, low-emission zone registration marks, dispensations, etc.

TRAIN AND BUS

Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center is just a 5-minute walk from Aalborg railway station and bus terminal. National rail carrier, DSB, connects Aalborg regionally and nationally with frequent rail services.

With DSB you can travel to/from Aalborg from/to the majority of major towns and cities in Jutland and on the islands of Funen and Zealand in an easy and comfortable manner. Regional trains also run to and from Hirtshals and Frederikshavn every hour. DSB also connects Aalborg with rail services to the other major towns and cities in Denmark.

From Aalborg Bus Terminal you can get to/from Aalborg from the other big cities in Denmark by express buses. Some of the operators also have connections to cities in the rest of Europe.

Flextur
Nordjyllands Trafikselskab offers flextur, which is public transport from address to address. The only requirement is that the start address is in the North Jutland Region. BY PLANE

With over 30 daily flights between Copenhagen-Aalborg and 6 daily flights on KLM’s Amsterdam-Aalborg route Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center is accessible for international guests. The flight time Copenhagen-Aalborg is just 35 minutes, and from the airport to Aalborg Congress & Culture Center there are less than 15 minutes by taxi.
