Future Propulsion and
the Green Transition

The green transition in fisheries and the broader shipping industry places significant demands on both newbuilds and existing vessels. At the conference “Future Propulsion and the Green Transition”, a range of industry stakeholders will come together to provide insights into the latest technologies and solutions.

The morning presentations will provide an overview of future fuels, electrification, and ship design, including opportunities for shore power – both in relation to the fishing industry and from a broader perspective.

After the break, the focus will shift to concrete energy-saving measures that can reduce fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions, regardless of the propulsion method chosen. Examples of technologies will be presented, ranging from optimization of engines, hulls, propellers, and nozzles to energy-efficient pumping systems and advanced solutions in the engine room.

The day will conclude with insights from the SEAGLOW project, which focuses on small-scale fisheries and emerging trends in technological development over the coming years.

Registration for the conference provides free access to the exhibition all day.
