The DanFish International trade fair is a prime venue for business in the fishing industry — and this year is no exception. Danish company Beritech has just closed a deal for an electric shrimp cooker, sold for DKK 650,000 to a Norwegian customer.

A sign reading “Sold” is proudly displayed on the side of a large, gleaming machine at Beritech’s stand at DanFish International.

– We’re absolutely thrilled whenever we sell new machines, says Christian Nielsen, Project Manager at Beritech. It’s great to see customers recognizing Denmark as a specialist nation when it comes to cold-water shrimp — and choosing our equipment and expertise.

The cooker is fully electric, equipped with electric heating elements and an electric actuator. It represents one of the many innovative and future-ready solutions driving the fishing industry forward. According to Nielsen, this is the fourth electric shrimp cooker Beritech has sold this year.
