DanFish International takes place every other year and is a 3-day trade fair held in Aalborg, Denmark’s 4th largest city.

Since 1974, the exhibition in Aalborg has been an important meeting place for industry professionals, focusing on equipment for the fisherman and his boat. Located in the heart of Denmark’s fishing area, the exhibition has been marketed from the start as “The Fishermen’s Own Exhibition.”

In 1996, the exhibition was renamed DanFish International to emphasize its international focus. The exhibition quickly attracted participation from countries around the world, and today, it is a global networking hub for both fisheries and maritime professionals. DanFish attracts about 400 exhibitors from 25-30 countries, and together with approximately 12,000 visitors, participants come from around 50 different countries.

When DanFish International opens its doors in Aalborg in 2025 for the 29th time, manufacturers and other suppliers from the industry will have a unique opportunity to connect with customers from around the world. The exhibition is a dynamic networking forum where business is created, knowledge is exchanged, and future solutions are developed.

What is DanFish International?

Where and when is DanFish International held?

DanFish International takes place at Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center, located at Europa Plads 4—a centrally located and easily accessible exhibition and conference center in the heart of Aalborg, Denmark.

DanFish is held every two years, and the next edition will take place from October 7-9, 2025.

How do I get to the exhibition?

Getting to AKKC is easy, whether you arrive by car, bus, train, or plane.

There are excellent motorway connections directly to the venue and 700 parking spaces right outside (with additional parking available nearby), so you don’t need to worry about finding a parking spot.

Aalborg’s train and bus station is practically in AKKC’s backyard—just a few minutes’ walk from the main entrance. This makes it easy to travel to and from the exhibition using public transportation.

Are there hotels near the exhibition?

Aalborg offers 1,833 hotel rooms, most of which are within walking distance of the city center and conference facilities, ranging from international luxury hotels to charming family-run accommodations.

Directly connected to Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center is the eco-labeled Scandic Aalborg City, and just a few meters away is Comwell Hvide Hus Aalborg, which is only a short walk through Kildeparken.
